            As Information Literacy Instructor, my role is to introduce students to a wide variety of books and authors while promoting a love of reading.  I share a wide variety of books sometimes for pure enjoyment and other times to support classroom curriculum.  In addition, I also teach information literacy where students learn to search, locate, and evaluate information as they connect, create, and communicate - essential 21st Century skills.    Internet safety is intentionally taught at all levels and integrated into lessons so our students become safe 21st Century Learners.

            Information Resource Center Student and Staff Expectations:

            Respect...
             * yourself
            * each other
            * the classroom
